Next Generation Sequencing allows the lecture of longuer DNA regions than the tradicional sequencing methods. Thanks to this technology, Whole Genix offers genome, exome and transcriptome whole analysis. All mutations and genetic variations that could be relevant for the oncologist are screened and selected from our studies and databases.

The advantage of whole genome analysis is that this process not only gives information about the genes expressing in a certain moment (transcriptome) or coding for protein production (exome), but also about other regions which may be key in the regulation of genetic expression. Mutations in a regulatory region can be as important as any mutation in a coding gene.
